“ Came by on my visit to San Diego because I love places with history. I can see why it’s been around for 25 years now. Everything was delicious and had great taste to it. The soup, the coctel, and the cucarachas were delicious. Everyone was super friendly and attentive during the service. 100% would recommend coming by if you’re in the area. ”
“ One of the best Mexican seafood restaurants in San Diego!! The food is amazing!! Family owned vibes and definitely a local neighborhood favorite. ”
“ My favorite mariscos spot in San Diego! I always order the Acapulco pulpo, not pictured. The octopus is one of the softest octopus I've ever had. Honestly, I've never eaten anything that I haven't enjoyed fully. Also, don't sleep on their aguas frescas also super good. ”
“ Nice place for sea food! Full of authentic flavors with good seasoning! We tried many dishes including a carne asada plate. The fajita dish is a must!!! The 7 mares is also delicious! Everything was very well made. Prices are on the higher end averaging $24 a plate. But you do get large portions. It is a Mexican Sea food restaurant with a taco shop vibe. There is a variety to choose from including chicken and a kids menu. They do play music extremely loud so conversations at the table were impossible. They are spacious so no waiting when we went and they do have a small parking lot next to the building. Overall a good place to eat ”
“ I truly hope the owner reads this review and takes it into an account. I'm a foodie who's been in the neighborhood for a couple of years. There's a lot of good food around here but finding something great is challenging. Mariscos El Titanic have so much potential for greatness! They have an interesting menu that's unique around here, quality ingredients, generous portions, great service. But for some reason the magic just doesn't happen in the kitchen. I guess it's either the cooks not being passionate enough for great food or the cooks being restricted by less than stellar recipes. Please consider hiring someone who would revamp the way the same dishes are prepared with passion and pazaz! A bit more salt here and there, a bit more crunch, a bit longer grilling time. This place is so close to being able to serve great food people would travel from adjacent neighborhoods for. But as of now the cooking is just not there. I hope to give them my wholehearted five stars review soon. That greatness is right at their fingertips! ”
